This year we are taking a more school wide approach to no name-calling week through theme dress days, movies, and an assembly, in addition to classroom lessons. Below is the plan for next week's events.
Theme Dress Days
Tuesday- Crazy Sock Day “Sock It To Bullying”
Wednesday- Hat Day “Put a Lid on Bullying”
Thursday- Backwards Day “Don’t Turn Your Back on Bullying”
Friday- Camouflage Day “Don’t Blend In, Take a Stand Against Bullying”
Programs
Grade 8 will view Remember the Titans, followed by
classroom anti-bullying activities.
Grades 5-7 will view Radio, followed by classroom anti-bullying activities
Grades 5 – 8 will view “The Pledge”, a motivational and anti-bullying program performed by Camfel Productions. The program for grades 5 & 6 will be held at 1:00pm and grades 7 & 8 at 1:45pm.
